This mala features natural pearl, genuine turquoise, lapis lazuli, Baltic amber, coral, krishna-cut crystal and Himalayan melon-carved quartz in traditional Tibetan Buddhist configuration of 27th, 54th and 81st marker to facilitate keeping track when reciting your mantras.
Finished with melon-carved fluorite, antique red coral and sterling silver, Bali hand-made Buddha pendant.
It has been made as a custom order for a movie shot in Bali - we were comissioned to make three of these, two has been used and one has returned to us. Just as a note, the coral used in THIS particular mala is enhanced.
Coral has been present in countless cultures for centuries and was always believed to hold power to protect against evil and enchantmens. According to Hindu Vedic Astrology, red coral is the gemstone of planet Mars – it helps to negate all improper, negative or powerful influence of the planetary motions, especially the fierce Mars.
In Tibetan culture, for many centuries red coral has been a prized and sought-for material. Often times, entire family's wealth was invested in red coral, as it would be easy to trade at the market place. It is especially favoured in use of Buddhist malas, for its ability to magnify the power of recited mantras.
Pearls are the only gem born of a living organism, resulting from nourishing an irritation in a soft body of a mollusk. Symbolizing self-nourishment and nurturing, healing properties have been associated with pearl for centuries.
Satyaloka azzezulite krishna-cut crystal is a powerful quartz which vibrates with the frequency of pure spiritual white light and carries one of the most rarefied energies of all the stones in the mineral kingdom.
